At Merford in Gorinchem, 180 men and women work daily on a variety of products and services. They contribute to ergonomic cabins for cranes, vessels, and vehicles, sound solutions for both individuals and large-scale industrial projects, and doors with special requirements. One area where particular demands are placed is in the "High Security Security Doors" division of Merford.‍These doors undergo testing under extreme conditions and are bullet-resistant (EN 1522-1 Class FB4 NS), burglary-resistant (EN 1627 RC6), blast-resistant (EN 13123-2), and fire-resistant (EN 1634 RC6).With over 30 years of experience, Merford Special Doors custom-produces doors to the customer's specifications in their own state-of-the-art production facility in Gorinchem.‍For the slow-motion shots, we used the Phantom Flex, a high-speed camera that captured the impact of bullets on the steel door at 10,000 frames per second.
